Mud Discharge Vessels

Mud-discharge vessels are used in liquid and gas flow measurement circuits. They are needed where there is a significant amount of entrained solids, sludge or solid sediment that can clog the impulse piping, even if these are in accordance with general recommendations. They are also often needed where the secondary device is situated under the main pipeline. For gas circuit installations, mud-discharge vessels are useful if the measured fluid is impure or wet.
