Ejectors

An ejector is a jet pump used to transport fluids by using the kinetic energy of the working (motive) fluid. It is used to pump, mix (dilute) two fluids or to create a vacuum (pump). A mixture of the working fluid and the suction fluid emerge from the ejector with steady pressure and velocity profile. The greatest advantages of ejectors are the absence of rotating parts and the design simplicity. They do not require electrical power to operate, but only a sufficient amount of working fluid.
